Considered "quirky" by friends and "weird" by most others, Valdur floats through life with little apparent stress or strain. Frequently he notices things that other people would miss and misses things obvious to just about anyone else. He has an unfortunate fondness for bad jokes and a disturbing one for his kukri, which he always refers to as Mr. Stabbity, for reasons undisclosed.
