A young lad of twenty winters Gosha "Howling Wind" is first and foremost a barbarian, an uncivilized, warring youth with the world to prove himself to. He is tall and well-built with longish fair hair and a subtle hint of stubble, he knows how to handle an axe better than your average warrior and his songs carry the bloodlust that is so common to his kind. Far away in his northen home he was an apprentice to a master skald and after having learned all that he can from his mentor he retreated deep into the frozen tundra to connect with his savage gods. After a week and a day he received a visitation from the shieldmaiden of Tempus, his patron god. She told him that he was meant to write a great ballad that would be remembered long after his grandchildrens bones turned to dust. Filled with divine guidance the young northman set out for the mainland to furfill his quest. His first stop was the city of Bylan where he took in his first quest. Having aided the village of Bylan from ravaging orcs and goblins and having begun the saga of his adventure the fair-headed bard moves farther inland in hopes of encountering more of the fey or as they are called here elves. After having visited the elemental plane of the forest and having destroyed the evil spirit that was poisoning it Gosha realized just how close he felt to nature, after a short while with the elves that he helped Gosha was proud to call himself a ranger. Once again longing to feel the road under his feet he set out from his new forest home and was called elf-friend ever after.
