Started playing pnp D&D in '82, back when you had to colour one side of your d20 to show the teens (before those crayons came with your boxed set.) So, I'm another old timer who has finally made his way into NWN and I love it.
My style: an even mix of RP and fighting is my ideal blend. It's all about the story. A strong story is the essential framework for a good adventure. Add to that characters who are consistent and willing to play up their shortcomings and you've got a great story for all.
Although I'm open to playing any class or race, I do like to play underdog PCs - the loudmouth gnome who deserves a punch, the halfling who is too curious for his own good (and sometimes the party's own good, too.)
