Another one of them Pen and Paper guys from back in the day. I have only been doing the multi-player for a little over a year but really enjoy it. I enjoy playing characters with their own unique personalities both good and evil. As a DM I prefer the 50/50 but I usually go off of what the players seem to be into. I have held DM positions with Alangara Reborn and Lords of Middle Earth. Currently my time is spent on Arcana, a persistent world based off of a unique pnp world, over 20 years in the making.
