Lomonia Tarnruth
Fair skin, silver hair and blue eyes touched with gold, a typical moon elf. Even for an elf Lomonia was a natural talent, a prodigy. As a child casting came easier to her than walking, in fact her first full sentence was a cantrip to light her room at night. Born in the forest garden of Deepingdale, she learned all that she could from the mages of Highmoon before she was halfway to maturity and exhausted the volumes in the Leaves of Learning shortly after. So it was she was sent to the University of Silverymoon, rapidly rising to dwarf the abilities of much older students.
Bright and good humoured, if somewhat naive, she grew in ability, excelling in that place of pure learning. Then came the bet. "Pah, you might be good here but you'd never survive a year out there." "I can survive anywhere with my magic to support me." "Prove it!" Now it was a matter of pride for Lomonia, she had the learning but could she truly use it. Determined to do so she looked for somewhere she felt she would be of most use, and the obvious location came swiftly to mind. Daggerdale. Home to the dales it would be, to learn the application of theory and, hopefully, do her part on the side of right in the constant strife there.
