Cyphus or, as he now calls himself, Clout the Magnificent, assisted a blacksmith (not very well) until he could afford to buy some fancy looking equipment (not very powerful) and go out adventuring, to make a name for himself (not very likely). Now, equipped with the Fancy Breastplate of Invulnerablity (brightly colored, but unremarkable), the Silver Shield of Victory (very shiny, but unremarkable), and the Shining Beacon of Justice (with a glowy effect! ...but unremarkable), he sallies forth to rout evil and become a hero to be remembered! Hopefully by grateful maidens with huge tracts of land.
