Hi, new player here well not really I've been playing NWN since the release but just recently got into RPing and I'm liking it so far. Also, I've read the guide but still having trouble finding a game. I think I'm not filling out the information correct or something. I really want to start in a campaign so any help would be appreciated.

The module offers over 900 areas to explore, many quests, a growing community and is itself (the module) still being revised. This is a _very_ pnp like world. Hope to see you online soon.
The second is to look for open or application games on the calendar and try to join them. Anymore these are rare for campaigns, but various roleplay oriented persistent worlds do still post open games fairly often.
Finally you can look at that same schedule for invite only games and send a private message to the DM of those games asking to be put on a waiting list. This is actually a very likely way to get added to a campaign, as oftentimes a DM will be able to take another player but won't be motivated to advertise that fact, or alternatively will have enough players on a waiting list that an opening never really occurs.
If all of that fails, you can always host a campaign yourself and advertise it. The DM guide linked on the front page should tell you everything you need to know to run your own campaign here, and there are plenty of mods on the vault that can be downloaded and DM'ed. I'd start with the DMFI 101 So You Want to be a DM mod which is a DM tutorial, and then run a short simple game to warm up to system.
