Okay, I'm stuck >_< I downloaded a big PrC pack for NWN2 and also the big spell fixes pack. Those both have a dialog.tlk file....but they're BOTH called that and BOTH say to put it in the SAME place! You all know as well as I do that you can't do that. So how do I get both overrides to work?
EDIT: Reeron's spell fixes tells me to put his .tlk into My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2, not the override. I wonder if I'm supposed to do that with Kaedrin's PrC pack too? I'm just confused because I know they're separate files for separate overrides but I want them both to be working at the same time...don't want to choose between fixed spells and new PrC classes.
Altered dialog.tlk files do go in the main directory not override, but it sounds like you have two systems that both needed to change the dialog.tlk and I'm fairly certain it means unless one makes itself compatible with the other then you can have only one.
Also make damn sure you back up the original dialog.tlk file as it is a major one to have corrupted. It's why most of the in game string references lie and the game will not function properly without it.
Ah damn, I already overrode the thing....oh well. I can always reinstall if I don't have a mod I want to use. I have the discs still, except for the first one, which I have an iso for. (lost my original NWN2 disc)
