Connection speed for a server

Hi,

I've heard that we need a pretty good internet connection for hosting a server. So, let's say I'm hosting a module for a campaign with maximum 10-12 players playing on it, is a cable connection enough to host a game, or everybody is going to experience lag ?

Thanks

It depends how many players will/is logging onto your module. Also depends who is logging onto your module and where there from.
To host 40+ players, yes it would be best to have a decent server machine w/ T1 connection.
Lag also depends on how you have your module setup. Do you have tons of placeables every where? Are NPC just standing there? Are there location loaded with placeables, NPC just waiting for players to enter? ETC... That is just a few things to consider.

Anyways good luck and have fun gaming.
