I DM my campaign at one of the player's server and usualy I have a lot of lag but somehow it works well. I use wireless. is the wireless is part of the cause to the lag? cause all the players don't have lag in that server. the module is not so big. it is 4 MG

The fastest wireless is slower than the slowest wired connection. I think the fastest you can get wireless is around 54Mbps, but wired can go as high as 1Gbps, with 100Mbps being the norm. So, yes, your wireless connection is most likely causing the lag. Some solutions, other than switching to a wired connection, are moving the computer closer to the wireless connection (so the signal doesn't have to travel as far - it gets weaker the further it has to travel), ensure the signal doesn't have to travel through walls, upgrade to a faster wireless (I think 802.11n is the latest, but that may still be pre-draft) or try another router. Wireless is great for its convience, but you sacrifice speed in the process.

funny how the close place and it doesn't affect much. more to say that what the wireless gets is a router in a room next to it. well...not that big deal though gotta say. I just make a phone call and while the week someone will come and connect my computer with the router in the other room. seems like I must do it cause I get 54 mbps but there is a lot of lag. so I'll make the phone call and get to wire my computer to a router in the other room... thanks
